it was an indoor shooting so there was no issue with timing, it was noon!Lighting
i have used several light modifiers, one big one and others very small for the harsh effect, i used a 200cm reflective umbrella and 2 speed lights, one mounted on a boom stand just above the dancer, one on the left as a side kicker.Equipment
i use canon 5D mark iii with several lenses, mainly my kit is primes, 24mm II f1.4, 50mm f1.4, 85mm f1.8, 70-200 f2.8 is ii usm, sigma 15mm that i barely use along with the 24- 105mm f4. im a strobist so i have a collection of different strobes and qualities, as well as different light modifiers that allow me to play aroundInspiration
we live in a country surrounded by Arabs so it has been influenced by this culture for so many years, some call us Arabs, others Phoenicians (yes we are). the pole dancing is a taboo here, no one will dare talk about it or even mention it. we took the challenge to take it publicly, well in the some parts of Lebanon some said no but many others were happy to see such work being published.Editing
