I took this photo in Jbeil, Lebanon. i was at my friends place and luckily i grab my cam almost anywhere, took the shot that made my day.Time
i was amazed by the beautiful colors right after the sunset and i couldn't resist a long exposure tryLighting
i felt that the sea condition was perfect to make it silky and i went to take a 30 seconds image.Equipment
im a canon photographer, i use mainly a 5D mark iii and own a 600D, as well as a canon A1. as for lighting i have 2 nicefoto 680A and 2 yongnuo 600exrt and a variety of light modifiers.Inspiration
the beautiful layers of colors that i saw over the horizon made me think about it, but the sea was so quiet that he made take the decision to go to my car and grab my cam,Editing
on this particular one i did not process the photo and retouched it, it went through minor adjustments in lightroom. In my camera bag
depending on the type of the shoot, if its a wedding i grab my 5d mark iii with some lenses (70- 200 f2.8 isii / 24- 105 f4 / 50mm f1.4 / 85mm f1.8 extension tube) i use yongnuo 600exrt as speedlight and use nicefoto 680A as wireless strobes with a 600w of power that helps me matching the sunniest days.Feedback
when you see a natural scenery and specially if it has water try thinking of making it more interesting by going on long exposure making silky waters and colorful sky mesh. it is however very essential that you look for subjects that compensate your photo. you can use anything that would reflect the scene you are feeling. take the hard road in your photos, when you're done you will love it. Everyone will!
