Location
Visiting my brother-in-law near Bergerac in southern France.Time
An early morning visit .Lighting
This field of sunflowers lit up each morning when the sun cleared the horizon. The beautiful sky was a bonus !Equipment
Using a Canon 10D with a 10-20 zoom from about a foot from this perfect specimen.Inspiration
Basically the beautiful Yellow contrasting with the blue sky.Editing
Alittle cropping , some boost to the saturation and a small increase in contrast , all in Lightroom. In my camera bag
SInce this was taken I now have a range of equipment , mainly Nikon and an Olympus mirrorless covering focal lengths from 10mm to 3000mm but normally only take enough to cover the subject of the days efforts.Feedback
Always be aware of your surroundings , it is very prudent to have a polite conversation with someone in any area you are visiting for the first time and do not forget to ask permission before venturing on someone's land.
