Behind The Lens

Location

White Horse Beach in Plymouth, Massachusetts

Time

Late evening/sunset

Lighting

The sunsets up in this area are beautiful with deep red tones... great for photographs

Equipment

Canon EOS Rebel SL1 with Canon EF-S Telephoto Zoom Lens 55mm-250mm - F/4.0-5.6 No Flash No Tripod

Inspiration

The area is just so great to photograph and the sunsets are beautiful.

Editing

I did some minor post processing... sharpened, played with contrast using the Canon Digital Photo Professional software. This was taken at a time when I was still getting to know my photography equipment and software. Still very much a beginner.

In my camera bag

I'm looking to upgrade at some point, but I still use my Canon EOS Rebel SL1 and I have my Canon Speedlite 430EX II w/ diffuser... I have a Platypod Pro for a portable tripod and my Canon EF-S Telephoto Zoom Lens 55mm-250mm - F/4.0-5.6 and Canon EF Zoom Lens for Canon EF ? 24mm?105mm ? F/4.0

Feedback

I just snap things that attract my eye or situations that may make a great picture... the best advice I can give is to just have fun.
