Milky way rising over the „Grosser Arber”, the highest mountain in the Bavarian Forrest in southern Germany. It was -4 °C in the middle of the night at the mountain lake called „Kleiner Arbersee”. 70 years ago this lake was used by the forrest workers to float down the timbers. On the lake you will find natural floating turf island where real trees are growing. Just one week before this photo was taken the lake was frozen and you couldn't see the island below the waterline. So i was really lucky to arrive there in the right moment :)
