Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo while on vacation with the family to the beaches in North Carolina

Time

The sun was setting and created the absolute perfect lighting situation

Lighting

I wanted to capture the majestic beauty of a sunset at the ocean shore. The sun was cooperating quite nicely with me and provided this amazing shot.

Equipment

I used a Nikon D3100 and a AF-S Book of 55-300mm. lens. No other equipment was used

Inspiration

Just the experience of watching the sun fall behind the crashing waves is enough inspiration to get the camera out and continue to snap photos continuously throughout the evening

Editing

I shot this photo in RAW, so I brought it into Lightroom to bring out the colors in order to represent the beauty that was present that evening

In my camera bag

I carry my Nikon D3100, DX Book of 55-300mm. lens, DX Book of 18-55mm. lens, and DX Book of 35mm. lens

Feedback

Never stop snapping photos!! You just never know when you may get that one special shot!
