Over and Out

Drama at Brands Hatch (Kent, UK) as Alfa Romeo driver Anthony Ross takes a tumble at Paddock Hill Bend. Happily, he walked away without a scratch. I had just switched to 1-125 to take some pan shots as cars passed me at the corner's exit, then looked up the track to see this unfolding. Given the shutter speed, I was astonished at the relative sharpness. It was one of my first events with a loaned D4 (and Nikkor 70-200 f2.8) and I began to acquire some Nikon kit of my own soon afterwards.
