Location

I took this photo at the renaissance fair in Frankfort Ky. I have always loved photography and jump at any chance to take photos of anything interesting.

Time

It was around 10 am that morning when he came to the stage to perform. The lighting that day was perfect all day.

Lighting

The lighting that day was perfect. The sun was up and it was beautiful all day. The only challenge was that there no clouds.

Equipment

I carry 2 cameras in my bag. A Nikon 3500 with a 25mm - 75mm lens and a Nikon 5000 with a 75mm - 200mm lens so that it is quick to get the right zoom needed for the shot.

Inspiration

I was inspired to get this shot by the way he looked. He looked as if he had just woke up and was doing the show as he drank his first cup of coffee for the day.

Editing

The only post processing I did with this photo was to crop it a little.

In my camera bag

Normally I keep 2 cameras with different lenses in my bag to make it quicker to switch to the proper zoom for the shot. Along with that I keep a variety of filters and a speed flash.

Feedback

The only advise I have for others is to keep your eye open for the perfect pic. Keep trying. You may habe to take several shots to get one that you like. That's fine most photographers do. I have been known to take lots just to get one. The longer you take pics the better you will get at it.
