This is now one of my most favorite shots I've taken to date. I took this eagle picture in MN at the National Eagle Center. This eagle is totally in the wild flying over the Mississippi River. The eagle's average lifespan is only 5 years, thats due to being hit by a vehicle or ingesting some lead, that more than likely came from another animal having been killed by a gun shot. The eagle can digest almost any and all of what it eats. A piece of lead about the size of a pin point can kill a eagle in about 5 days.
