This photo was taken in the living room of my house, I use a lot of natural lighting in my photos and all the elements worked together perfectly that day.Time
This was taken around 10am and I was getting my breakfast, the light shined through the windows, and behind the camera, we had soft light shining in through the glass doors. The time of day made for a perfect shot, the way the sun shined through the house.Lighting
I work a lot with natural lighting, it was the ideal time of day to shoot in my house with natural lighting.Equipment
I shot this with FinePix S8630 and nothing else.Inspiration
I was making myself tea on this particular morning, I walked into my living room to have a seat, before I make it to that I look down to see my dog Ally, she looked up at me with just her eyes. The lighting happened to be perfect and her face reflected perfectly on the hardwood floors. I knew it would be a perfect shot, so I rushed to grab my camera.Editing
I have a general editing process I start with. Though it is different with each photo. I usually sharpen my photos, adjust the color balance, and adjust the levels. I use photoshop for all my editing. I can't tell exactly how I retouched this one, just because it varies so much image to image, but it's something along those lines. In my camera bag

Natural light is my best friend, it's the easiest light to use in my opinion, the best advice I can give is have an understanding on shadows and light. A good way to learn is by taking any object and a table lamp and moving the lamp around the object. Another thing is, patience, the sun moves, so the get the ideal lighting you might have to just wait.
