Love this picture! The stars are illuminating the sky beautifully. You caught the archway and the surrounding area just perfectly! I feel as if I'm there right now, what a great job!

Location
This was taken during a night sky workshop at Arches National Park. This was before the park started a lighting ba. The arches are lit with led panels at a very low setting with a 20 second exposure. We had a group and a few lights discretely placed, again at the lowest setting. We were interested in having some of the features to contrast some. One of the tricks in taking this was in timing when others with flashlights were climbing all over it!Time
This was about 4AM in March when Milky Way is starting to emerge.Lighting
LLL. Low Level Lighting as espoused by Royce Bair among others. LED (Z96), set very low.Equipment
Canon 5D Mk 3, 14mm Rokinon 14mm. Sirui CF Tripod with RRS ball head.Inspiration
Feels like you are inside a bowl looking out.Editing
PS just some warm filters contrast sliders etc.In my camera bag
I now carry a Sigma ART 24 and 50 1.4 lens, having traded off the Rokinon. Tamron 150-600 for wildlife, (ever notice autocorrect changes Tamron to Tampon?). Sorry. Usual assortment of remotes, filters etc.Feedback
Get out there and try. Toughest part of night shots is focus, shoot and check with loupe, get it sharp.
