I photograph moose in the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming a lot and one spring when I was up there photographing a couple of young bulls, a cow and this calf came out of the willows. The calf was intent on becoming acquainted with this young bull, Mom finally allowed them to sniff and inspect each other, but she remained very close. Perhaps they bull was an older sibling?
