Location
This was taken in our backyard during Texas' fall last year. The squirrels come out to nibble when I call them. Don't worry, veggie tortillas.Time
With the sun on her back, Stephanie chomps on her late afternoon snack.Lighting
I don't use them. I'm not into studio or false lighting, . . . yet.Equipment
Canon T5i, 75-300mmInspiration
As a complete beginner/novice, I wanted become comfortable with shooting different styles, with as little extra gear as possible. So becoming chums with the local squirrel gang soon became my muse. Besides, they are SO darn cute and have super-power athletic abilities as the scurry amongst the trees.Editing
Again, as a beginner, I used very little LightRoom adjustments for clarity and light. Looking back now, I would have cleaned out the blur in lower right corner, but it has become part of the picture for me now.In my camera bag
Simple street gear. T5i, 18-55mm kit lens, 75-300mm, 28-135mm, 2 FULL batteries, 2 empty cards, 2g thumb-drive, tactical pen, marker, small note pad. Always carry iPhone for GPS/911 . . . oh! A pocket knife, hanky or bandana. I have one sling bag for camera w/lens. One small messenger bag for other lenses. Nothing bulky. No backpacks or traditional camera bags.Feedback
No. Just BE YOURSELF! Shoot EVERYDAY! No your laws in your area about shooting in public and or private places. Have Fun!
