Location
This was taken in a car park in Chadwell Heath, London. I was on my way to start work and this caught my eye during a short cut.Time
This was taken at about 9:45am, I remember as I was due to start my shift at 10am.Lighting
Nothing but natural lighting. It was mid morning in the middle of winter, so it was a very stark, cold light.Equipment
Just my trusty HTC phone.Inspiration
I saw how the ice had almost made the leaf look pixelated and black and white, and thought it would make a great photo that looked as though it had been post-processed but actually hadn't been processed at all.Editing
Nothing at all, which is hard to believe when you see what looks like a pixelated picture that has had the colour removed! In my camera bag
Nothing other than my phone.Feedback
You can't try to find things like this, I find my most interesting shots when I'm not expecting them. I nearly walked past this but decided to take another look, and I'm glad I did. All I can advise is always be looking for beauty.
