I'm scrolling down the Celebrate Nature Contest and this shot brings me to a screeching halt! What an amazing shot.

Awesome shot!
Watch out for too much clarity / sharpening in your bokeh areas (e.g. only brush it where you want it instead of applying to the whole photo).

Location
This Photo was taken in 2015 along the Connecticut River. Eagles migrate to Connecticut from up north during the winter months.Time
The photo was taken during the early morning hours!Lighting
Got lucky with this shot the sun was behind me.Equipment
I used a nikon D750 with 300mm F2.8 VR II lensInspiration
I'm a big fan of wildlife and animals in motion. Eagles peak my intrests as they are very fast and unpredictable. To watch them fly over is truly amazing site to see and one I never get tired of.Editing
not much post processing here as I shot this in JPG. I always shoot in RAW but the day I took this shot was the first time shooting with the D750 which was set to JPG by default. Lesson learned always check what mode you are shooting in.In my camera bag
Nikon shooter mostly nikon gear D810 D500, 14-24mm Nikon f 2.8 70-200 f2.8 with a few Sigma primes for landscape work.Feedback
Timing is everything! I've shot eagles for many years and have taken the classic eagle shots. I got luck this day this eagle was in a rear mood.
