Spring Time's Companions
Just one little crocus.
and you know it's spring,
just one little robin song,
Good tidings to bring,
And look, there's that one,
Little green blade of grass,
Pressing through the old and dead,
Giving hope to spring time's glory,
And all the little bits,
of the peoples cheering up,
The little more warmth of the sun,
It all adds up to joy.
It's these spring time companions,
Each and every little one,
Breathing fresh new life
with a new song to be sung,
As the old is fading away.
A new season has begun,
for revival and growth,
for new discoveries, new things,
new ventures and new fun.
