In high school my parents set aside a room just for me in the basement for studio work. This one was taken there with the help of a few of my friends.Time
This shot was taken around 3pm.Lighting
I'm a sucker for natural light so I like to use it as much as possible. The natural light from the window was perfect for this shot.Equipment
This was shot with a Canon t3i and a 50mm 1/8 lens.Inspiration
Like most people in high school, me and my friends were just goofing around but when I was looking through the pictures afterwards this one turned out better than expected.Editing
I used just a little contrast and color balance to create just the right amount of color.In my camera bag
I now have a Canon 5D markIII (my precious baby) in my bag, as well as my 50mm 1/4, 85mm 1/8, and 28mm 1/8. For some reason I have always only used fixed lenses, and to be honest that will probably never change.Feedback
My advice is to always have fun. Don't try too hard to create something awesome because in my opinion the best things in life are already there.
