Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at a burlesque show I happened to attend with a friend not knowing anything about burlesque thought I would attend. As I left I seen this mannequin on a stall and noticed fairy lights behind her so I took this shot. So glad I did most people thought this was a real woman .

Time

This picture was taken mid afternoon

Lighting

Was taken with no flash as I didn't want to to lose the low lighting at the time

Equipment

I used a canon 600d with just a 50mm standard lens shot at 160 f16

Inspiration

I love low light photography it's always a challenge for any photographer but with great rewards

Editing

I only used motion blur on the fairy lights

In my camera bag

I normally have my canon 600d with my standard 50mm lens + canon 24mm -105mm lens Also my nikon d5200 I'm not really into lots of light as I feel lighting is everywhere you just have to play with .

Feedback

Play with your camera setting and stay away from auto mode, I do find it better to shoot in neutral mode as pre programmed setting either have high contrast or have been pre programmed which means more editing after .
