Location

This photo was taken near my home out in some hills and fields that I love to do shoots in.

Time

The time of day was around 7pm as the sun was setting. Sunset has always been one of my favorite times to go out and take pictures.

Lighting

I feel like sunset lighting gives a warm calming feeling but at the same time it gives off a vibrant and exciting vibe.

Equipment

I took this photo on my Nikon P510 which has a lens of 4.3-180mm. The only other equipment used where my hands and imagination.

Inspiration

I've always had a thing for silhouette photos. There is something so mysterious and beautiful about them.

Editing

I didn't do any processing to this image.

In my camera bag

My Nikon P510, a mini flexible tripod, and extra camera battery, and an extra SD card.

Feedback

Plan to go out at a time where you know the sun will be placed in the direction you are looking for. Know what the weather is going to be like at that time and know how to use certain settings, such as your ISO, aperture, white balance, exposure, etc.
