The name is not as exotic or symbolic as it may seem. Taken in Carroll County, Maryland during the 2016 blizzard, this tree sits in a parking lot and is the closest tree to Paradise Ave. in the township of Mount Airy. This is not a black and white image, it just appears that way due to the blowing snow and the sparce color palette of the scene at the time. the original image included a hand-rail for a buried staircase, but i felt it was a distraction dispite liking the wider format of the image.
