This photo was taken while on a walk near Glastonbury tour. I am not sure if this path had a name but its a beautiful walk from Ham wall nature reserve all the way to the tour. I didn't make it all the way to the tour it got to dark.Time
It was early evening, I had just moved in with my partner and had the whole day to myself and decided to go on a really long walk. I had only intended to walk Ham wall Nature reserve and just kept going and going really glad I did.Lighting
It was getting really Dark and I remember taking it not thinking it was going to come out great because it was to dark but I just loved how the trees moved across the path. But I loved the photo once I uploaded it to my computer.Equipment
I was using at the time a Pentax K-30 which was a good camera and I did get some great shots with it. I used only my hands with this photo and a standard 18-55 kit lens.Inspiration
I love the outdoors, trees have always been a focus of mine. This path reminded me of a scene from the movie "The Lord Of The Rings Fellowship Of The Ring" In which the hobbits are on the road picking the fallen vegetables. I really felt in my element for this photo.Editing
I use my Laptops editing software which i believe "Windows Photo Gallery" I just use all the tools available till I get the photo I want. I enjoy flicking though my photos tweaking them here and there. In my camera bag
I like to keep it light, A camera and one lens. At the moment I have a Canon 70D and a standard 50mm lens. I don't have that much equipment so I like to keep it light. But as I often go out on long walks by myself the most important Equipment for me would be a bottle of water and some good food!Feedback
I think you just need to get out and take photos. Stop worrying about equipment and getting that perfect shot! Just live for taking the photo have fun play around and if at the end of a long day you have one photo to show for it it doesn't matter. Live for the moment I remember watching sometimes its better to stay in the moment for as long as you can. But if you want to take a photo like this I would say getting out in the country side looking for the lonely lanes and picking the right time of year winter months will always give a more darker feel to the photo.
