This composition is truly a decisive moment. I was taking family photos for my cousins and this was actually supposed to be a photo of the 6 girls and they were all not paying attention etc, and I always take pictures when they aren't looking because I believe the best pictures come out of candid photos. Well I saw her sitting there and decided to take the picture at a weird angle trying to get them all in it on this bench but the only one who ended up looking amazing in the photo is a 5-6 year old who really wasn't paying attention. I just happened to take a photo at the perfect timing and it ended up being an amazing composition and in surprisingly great close up detail. I then decided to make it black & white because I'm obsessed with B & W photos so I was curious to see what it would look like and it turned out amazing! It is by far my favorite photo I have taken.

This was between 3-5pm during a photo shoot that started at about 1pm.Lighting
The sun was starting to set and it was behind her on the left and it gave it this very cool mysterious effect and made this image look stunning in color & in black and white.Equipment
This shot was taken on a Nikon CoolPix L830..nothing fancy at all and no equipment was used.Inspiration
I was taking family photos for my cousins and none of the rest of them were paying attention at all, except Shiloh. She technically isn't paying attention either she was just off in her own little world and it just made the prefect shot!Editing
All I did was put this in black and white and gave It the vintage black boarder.In my camera bag
I just have a Nikon CoolPix L830, you don't have to have a fancy camera to take an amazing shot.Feedback
Hoestly just keep your eyes open. The littlest thing/moment can catch your eye and before you know it you have an amazing picture, epsecially when you least expect it. Don't try an force a shot to happen, usually the best shots are ones that cd Naturally/candid especially when taking portrait photos.
