This image reminds me of the paintings of Freda Khalo.

Behind The Lens

Location

Glasgow Kelvin College

Time

First year of college. Daytime during class time - I remember that due to unforeseen circumstances, the shooting date had to be rescheduled and I was worried if my model would manage to make it to the studio or not. I was really glad that she did and incredibly satisfied with the quality of the end product.

Lighting

This image was shot as part of a frontal lighting exercise.

Equipment

- Mamiya RB67 - Tripod - Lightmeter - Studio flash - Reflectors

Inspiration

Females with strong characteristics.

Editing

Darkroom processing, burning in on the model's white top to get some more detail out of it.

In my camera bag

Pentax k1000 given to me by a dear fellow photographer friend.

Feedback

Film is not dead.
