Location
This Photo was taken at my farm in Georgia.Time
I t is rare to have snow in Georgia so I went out to enjoy the snow and get some shots I can't normally get.Lighting
This was one of those lucky situational shots. It was a snowy afternoon and our Gypsy "Highnoon Bounty" was out in the snow.Equipment
This was shot with a Canon T3i hand held. F2.8 ,1/1250,200mm,ISO 800.Inspiration
I am always inspired by the snow since we have it so rarely. I go out to find images I would like to capture. Bounty looked rather content in the snow with his mane hanging down his face.Editing
I don't usually spend much time in post processing but this image looked like it needed to be converted to black and white. In my camera bag
My T3i that I used to take this shot has been retired. I now carry a canon 5D mkIV , canon 7D mkII , 24-70,2.8, and 70-200,2.8,both canon lens and a tamron 150-600 . I do most of my work hand held but usually have a tri-pod or monopod handy if I need a little extra stability or long exposureFeedback
Planned shots are great, but sometimes you have to go out when the conditions are right and just shoot. Find interesting subjects and compositions and compose a photograph.
