A flyby of the Grumman F8F Bearcat by the Commemorative Air Force Southern California Wing. The Bearcat first flew in August of 1944, it never saw combat during WWII. However the Bearcat was the first plane chosen by the US NAVY's Flight Demonstration Team (Blue Angels) in 1946. The Bearcat has also been used extensively in Air Racing with one of the most famous Bearcats being "Rare Bear" which has set many performance records over it's life time.

Commemorative Air Force Southern California Wing is located at the Camarillo Airport in Camarillo, CA. They give great tours of their facility and do a great job at showing off the planes there. http:--www.cafsocal.com-
