This photo was taken during an Architectural event happening in our city a year ago. Since we were volunteering at the event, this picture was taken while we were on a break from all the work. Though I'm an autodidact at photography, I thought the moment was very much picture worthy.Time
This is my best friend in the picture. And I notice myself taking a lot of pictures of the people I care about, so I quite remember that we had a lot to do that day, and after we had finished all our work, we went on a break, and as it is quite notable from the picture, having a break was what we needed at the moment.Lighting
I loved how eventhough it was cold that day, there was a lot of sun, and I loved how those rays of sunshine kept interfering with every detail in the room, especially the smoke of the cigar. Also I wanted anybody looking at the picture seeing how actually chilled that moment was.Equipment
Honestly, I only used my phone, which is a Samsung Galaxy S3.Inspiration
After everything we did all day, the most inspiring thing in the room was how this picture shows how much we actually needed that break. I loved the light, the rays of sunshine, and mostly the darkness created by those rays of sunshine on my phone's camera, so I just went for it.Editing
I don't like changing too much on pictures. Though as a picture editor I use either Photoshop or Photoscape when those pictures are taken with my camera and I move them onto my laptop, or VSCO whenever I take pictures with my phone. In my camera bag
Given the fact that I have taught myself photography, I take my Canon with me most of the time. Though it's a very simple Canon 1000D with a 55cm lens, I love taking pictures with it. I also take a lot of pictures with my phone, which I'm currently working on updating it to a better Camera Phone like a Galaxy S7.Feedback
Use the light as much as you can. It's honestly the best thing you can learn for good photography. To capture a similar shot, just try to find an angle you can get what you see with your eyes, to go on a picture. Take the darkness to your advantage, make the picture yours. Prove the "A picture not be exactly what you see." wrong.
