Location
My parents' backyard where there were a row of Day lilies. This was a long time ago around the year 2000; The printed color copy is even more striking, but this capture is one of my favorite film photos.Time
Late afternoon.Lighting
I believe the sun was behind me.Equipment
Nikon N55 35mm film camera.Inspiration
I have been taking 35mm film photos since 1978 with various models and lenses. I found that film photos which have more pixels capture the subject well. I love Day lilies and positioned myself to get if frame in the view finder and shot several. This was my best.Editing
Regular film processing stores; than put photos on CD's to put them on the computer. In my camera bag
Camera, 2 lenses, flash. lens cleaners.Feedback
If using a 35 mm film camera, it is always best to have the prints put on a CD to do later touch ups, etc. Many people are going back to 35 mm cameras because great effect and many more pixels that produce rich color in photos.
