This shot is of a male and female that are kept at the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington, DC. The Przewalski's horse is a rare wild horse and is on the endangered species list. This horse could be found in the steppes of Central Asia. The last wild horse was seen in 1966. Today, they are kept in zoos for safety and re-population.
