Behind The Lens

Location

This Image was taken in 2016 so a little hard to remember every detail. This is January the Middle of Summer at a Beach about 10 Minutes from my Home were we go Fishing & Four Wheel Driving on the Beach.

Time

Golden Hour had started the Sun was going down and the Colours were going off. I grabbed my Camera no tripod and headed up this big sand dune to get a better perspective of the whole area. I had stopped to get my breath and turned around to see what the view was like and i just thought this is the one. The view through the grass on the side of the Dune just appealed to me and the rest is History or just a distant memory that lives on.

Lighting

This was outdoors and a Sea Scape so all Light and Colour provided from Mother Nature.

Equipment

All hand held with my old Canon 70D which i no longer have and 18-270 Tamron Lens which i still have, no other equipment involved. Aperture f/5.6?ISO 100?Shutter 1/30?Focal Length 18/1?

Inspiration

Mother Nature, Mother Nature always inspires me and moves me and if it does not then your not alive.

Editing

Being 2016 I don't think much post processing was used if any, if there was it was only minimal.

In my camera bag

In 2016 not much just my trusty Canon 70D and my 18-270 Tamron and probably a Canon 50mm Lens. Now in 2021 i have a Canon 80D & 90D i still have that trusty 18-270 Tamron lens as well as the 18-400 Tamron Lens and i think i still have that trusty 50mm. One Tripod, spare batteries, filters, Manual shutter release & most important piece of equipment is a Lens Cloth. Don't have a lot of gear or top end equipment but your only as good as the Camera you have at the time and what's in your Soul.

Feedback

My advice is just get outdoors and go with what's in your Heart & Soul and feel Mother Nature Immerse your self in the great outdoors.
