Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was taken on a hill in the amazing city of Sarajevo, Bosnia. Any pictures I take there are my favorite because it is a second home to me, I love visiting there and being able to take pictures of even the smallest, but most beautiful things I find that make me love the place even more than I already do.Time
This was taken just as the sun was setting. I was taking a walk through a grassy field and was watching the sun set and with it, the sky transforming into gorgeous colors.Lighting
I thought that capturing the sun behind the subject of my photo could turn out to be unique, and I just tried it out. I was worried that it would create too much of a shadow but the effect ended up being cool!Equipment
This was shot with a Canon 60D and a 40mm lens. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
I saw an interesting looking flower on the ground and thought it would make for a pretty picture and then thought of how the sun was setting right behind it. I decided to see how it would look to take it from this specific angle and I loved the product.Editing
Yes, I fixed the coloring of the sky and made the flower crisper. In my camera bag
I initially started out with just my Canon 60D and the kit lens, 18-135mm. I wanted to expand my horizon and bought a 40mm and loved the pictures I was taking, like this one. I recently just bought a 24-70mm L lens and am absolutely in love with it. No matter the situation you are in, this lens takes the most beautiful photos. I love the bokeh as well as its wide range of abilities.Feedback
I recommend looking for things out of ordinary, wherever you are. Something that may seem normal can look really unique at the right angle- try to find that. Any idea you come up with- go with it, you never know which ones will look good or not so good until you have the product in your hands.
