Location
I took this photo on Caister On Sea, beach which is near Great Yarmouth in Norfolk EnglandTime
It was approximately mid morningLighting
I don't like to admit but I let the camera sort out the lightingEquipment
I had just purchased a new camera (Canon 5d mk iv) cost me an arm and a leg, and I just wanted to see what it could doInspiration
I don't get to see 2 of my young grandchildren often enough and we took them for a walk on the beach, as it was a new camera I was testing it out. Letting it run on auto and trying out my own settingsEditing
The only post processing was to up the clarity to HDR a bit in LightroomIn my camera bag
I am primarily a wedding photographer (no I do not sing!!) but photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I carry a Canon 7d, A canon 5d mk ii and the canon 5d mk iv. I have a speed light flash, but rarely use it on the 5dmkiv it is kept for the 7d and my other 5d. I have so many lens I could not list them all. I carry a charger and 10 spare batteries to cover all three cameras. Cleaning cloths, normal batteries. I carry so much I really could not list it all, I am prepared for everything!!!!!Feedback
It's lovely to point and shoot letting the camera do the work for you but you have to experiment with all the settings. The light makes a great difference, morning, mid-day,evening, cloudy, sunny, even the wind makes a difference. When I first started out I couldn't grasp the light but trying all camera settings and testing my own settings made all the difference to my photography. I am sure I have improved a great deal from when I took this shot, go out on a limb and push yourself, I did and I love the rewards photography brings me.
