fabulous eyes your new Buddy has!!! Beautiful cat. Another way to do Selective Colour is to Duplicate the Background. Work on the Background Copy>convert to BW>add a layer mask beside the BW which will be a White Layer Mask. Then all you have to do is use your a soft brush and PAINT with BLACK over the Cats eyes. I find this way helpful because if you make a mistake and go outside the eye, you just Paint with White to bring back your area that you did not want to reveal any colour. You probably already know this, but if you Save as a Photoshop PSD, all your layers will be saved just in case you want to go back in and make any changes or decided to do the image all in black and white. Using a Layer mask to paint the BW off the eyes is just a less destructive way to Edit. You are always working on the MASK not on the image itself.
