Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at the PATH train station in New York City.

Time

Taken around 8pm at night.

Lighting

Lighting was existing flourescent.

Equipment

I usd a Nikon digital single lens reflex camera.

Inspiration

I was inspired by the juxtaposition of the lines and angles and saw an opportunity to capture the perspective aspect.

Editing

No post-processing. I rarely manipulate my images in post.

In my camera bag

I normally have two Nikon bodies, three lenses of varying lengths and some flashes.

Feedback

Size up the situation really well before shooting. Crop in camera as much as you can, keep the camera straight not tilted (unless that is what you are going for). Pre-visualize, pre-visualize......
