It's hard to get a great shot of Multnomah Falls. I'm not saying it's impossible (we've all seen them!) but boy is it hard. In the winter, mist is everywhere, soaking everything before it's all the way out of your bag. Umbrellas, covers, plastic, filters...nothing can shield your gear from the mist. On the day I visited I thought I was prepared! Nonsense. I'd get a single shot and my lens was covered in water. It was painful. This is the best shot I was able to get through the mist, water, and rain that was everywhere. This is one gorgeous waterfall.
