Behind The Lens

Location

This picture was taken in Portimão (Portugal), about 15 kilometers from the city where I live, Lagos.

Time

This is one of my favorite photos. I walked about 1km to reach the site. It was about four o'clock in the afternoon.

Lighting

The light was perfect and not create many shadows which was ideal for the result I wanted in the photo.

Equipment

In the digital I use a Nikon D80 with several lenses. But what I use more are analog machines. When necessary use a tripod.

Inspiration

I always had a passion for trains, so over the years I have photographed many things related to trains.

Editing

This particular photo was not post-processed. It's a photo taken with a Nikon FM2 and Kodak Tri-X Pan

In my camera bag

In my bag usually I have a Nikon F2A and a Nikon FM2 with a 50mm lens, 70-210mm zoom and a 28mm wide angle. Movies Kodak Tri-X Pan. In my old lady digital Nikon D80.

Feedback

My advice to take good pictures and something similar to this is to find the exact place and let yourself carried away by the beauty of the place. From there will come good pictures.
