It would still have been a great shot had the lead rider been facing forward, but catching him looking back adds the drama and thrill to make this a truly outstanding image.

Have you tried a tighter crop aong the helmet line of the riders and just to the right of the centre line of the lead rider... I like this shot, just wondering what a tight crop would do for the effect...
