I wanted to shoot this plane as though it was actually flying. This is not a "digital art" image, created in PS. The sky over Capital Airport, Springfield, was very dramatic with sporadic thunderstorms moving through the area. This plane is part of a static display outside the Illinois Air National Guard facility at the airport. It took quite a while to identify the optimum shooting angle such that all ground based elements were eliminated from the composition.
