Behind The Lens

Location

This image was taken in rural Kent, UK

Time

It was taken as the sun was going down on a freezing cold winter evening

Lighting

The sheep were naturally lit by the winter sun

Equipment

I used a Nikon DSLR, hand held without a flash

Inspiration

I saw these cold sheep in their field and thought it reminded me of a Joseph Farquharson artwork The Sheep were all huddled together, I just had to wait until they all turned to face me

Editing

This photo required very little post processing

In my camera bag

I always have my trusty Nikon DSLR along with my go to Nikon 16-80mm f2.8-4 Lens

Feedback

Anyone trying to take a similar photo, needs to wrap up warm and be prepared to wait until the animals come together at the right time, but don't be disheartened if it takes more than one evening as animals can be very unpredictable
