After my daughter bought a new puppy, a few weeks later my husband said he wanted one from the same litter too … later, we found out that the 2 male puppies left, one had blue eyes, were going to a home that weekend and if the deal fell through we could buy one … well the deal didn’t fall through and the new owner took the puppies that weekend … the days slowly turned into weeks and I never stopped thinking about the 'what if’s and buts' … Then one day, thanks to facebook, I saw s photo of 2 puppies to be re-homed … sadly they had been badly abused, the blue-eyed puppy had a large ulcer near his eye and brought tears to my eyes just looking at the photo … so I gave them a call to find out if the puppies were still available … the blue-eyed puppy had gone to a good home and they still had the other puppy left … and I just had to find out if they were from the same litter … too uncanny to not believe … yes, we took Jack home that day and he is very much one of the family and loves playing with his brother. I took this photo not long after they were re-united (about 12 weeks or so since they last saw each other in the photo) and they are inseperable and get along like a house on fire (Jack has blue collar and Buddy has black collar).
