Behind The Lens

Location

I live in the north of France and so this photo was taken near my home . I love walking around there it is very quiet and relaxing.

Time

It was on an April morning with a cloudy sky ant soft light.

Lighting

I was mainly focused on the reflection of the tree and its lighting , i knew that it will be a BW processing and i wanted somethig soft.

Equipment

Canon EOS REBEL T1i , 17mm/198s/ISO 200

Inspiration

I immediately noticed the beautiful reflection of the tree in the water , it was a moment of calm and serenity and that was i wanted people feel looking at this picture.

Editing

I always use photoshop cs6 or lightroom or both and silver fx ( Nik software Collection ) for the BW.

In my camera bag

Canon EOS REBEL T1i with Tamron-17/50mm and For the macro canon efs 60mm. But now my favorite camera is the fantastic fuji x100s ! I am not very fond of using flash but i've got yongnuo 565ex ii .

Feedback

In order to progress , practice everyday , always have your camera with you , shoot a same scene with different exposure , different speed ...it's a good way to learn how your camera works.
