One of my favorite Mexican holidays is Day of the Dead. Perhaps it's the way people come together to honor their loved ones who have passed. I admire and love the way they clean and freshen the grave sites, fill them with flowers and bring their favorite foods. These shoes are the product of one of my cemetery visits during Day of the Dead.
