I took this photo from a beach chair on the beach in Grand Turk and Caicos. That was our cruise ship the Carnival Liberty.Time
The photo was taken around noon in November of 2012.Lighting
The lighting this day was perfect for photography, it was actually a rainy day and was very cloudy. A little bit of sunshine, but not much.Equipment
I used my point and shoot digital camera. An Olympus Tough. I used the "dramatic" feature.Inspiration
I was sitting bored on the beach while my husband snorkeled around the water. I like trying to capture the waves rolling in and out.Editing

I always have some type of camera with me, whether it is my point and shoot Olympus, my cell phone camera or the camera I use for work (a Cannon Rebel t3i). Other than that, I don't usually have any other equipment with me unless I know i will need it, which is usually my tripod.Feedback
Take multiple photos and be patient, you will eventually capture what you are waiting for.
