Living on the coast, I feel blessed that I am only a short drive to the ocean. It has been stormy and rainy lately, a rare occurrence for Southern California. Looking out my kitchen window, I saw that the storm was clearing and it was about an hour until sunset, so I hopped on Interstate 5 and headed up the coast. When I pulled up and parked, I could see that I had the spot to my self. I packed up my gear and walked down to the rocky beach. Not the most colorful sky, but there was some nice water movement from the waves coming in and washing over the rocks.
