Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was actually taken out of my balcony window! The hawk had at first landed on the railing and then flew over to the tree. It was sitting there quite nicely for a few photos before it left.

Time

I captured this photo around 12:30 in the afternoon. I was actually taking it easy and watching a bit of television when it caught my eye and I moved slowly to grab my camera and get the photos.

Lighting

It is all natural light as I don't know how to photoshop or lightroom or anything like that so all my pictures are what comes off the camera.

Equipment

It was taken with a FinePix S8200. A little point and shoot camera that I usually had in my pocket!

Inspiration

I was inspired to take this photo because it was a chance I didn't want to miss. Usually when I see any raptors I am normally driving and they are usually flying.

Editing

No, I don't do any post-processing on any of my photos except for maybe a bit of cropping.

In my camera bag

The normal things I have in the camera bag besides the camera is plenty of extra batteries! And extra SD cards in case I need them.

Feedback

For beginners like myself, keep your camera close as you never know when you might be able to get a good/great shot!
