I have photographed this tree a few times over the years. This morning, before sunrise, I waded out into knee deep water and started taking some long exposure images using a 6 stop grad and 3 stop grad filter to help blur the water. The clouds helped add a dimension to the beams of light, shining through. I spent a fair period of time capturing further images and it was only the incoming tide which forced the decision to make it back to shore
