This photo was taken on a road trip through Northwest Florida. We love to stop at antique and second hand stores on our trips and this was a display in front of this cute little country antique and novelty store.Time
It was in the mid afternoon.Lighting
It was not a planned shot. I actually took it real quickly without any setup before I headed into the shop.Equipment
Cannon T3i No flash No tripodInspiration
It was perfectly decorated for the holiday season and it was adorable. It just caught my attention.Editing
I did use Lightroom to post-process it. Because it was a vintage store and a rustic looking outhouse I wanted to desaturate it and make it look rustic and old. However I also wanted the poinsettias to pop because they were the perfect touch for it.In my camera bag
I normally don't carry a lot of equipment but I do have a speed flash and my camera body is a Canon 7ti. I have several filters, and a portable fold up tripod.Feedback
Don't hesitate! Is something catches your attention take a picture of it and worry about it later. You don't always have to worry about having a special setup just to capture something on the fly. Some of my best images that I've ever taken were quick shots with no planning no setup.
