One of the few ways to get to most parts of Alaska is by plane. Even a trip to the state's capital, Juneau, you must take a boat or a plane since there are no roads that connect it to the rest of Alaska! I love the calmness of this image. Even though we were in the wilderness photographing bears, this photo shows the silence of the area (sometimes). It also shows the clarity of the gorgeous Alaskan waters.
