This is why I chuckle at those who try to belittle me for spending so much time in the electronic darkroom of my computer, whilst they talk about "getting it right out of the camera."

A good exposure is important. But do you think you will be the next Adams, or Karsh, if you don't learn how to coax all that you can out of your digital negative?

This image of Michelle was presented by me previously, with a slightly modified version out of the camera (you can find it elsewhere in my photos here), done to look more like a painting. I saw this dress (a stock photo), and decided I needed to play.
