Location
This was in the backyard of my grandparents house in Thames New ZealandTime
The sunset started around 7:30 as far as I rember and that's about when I started shooting and the colours were just so magical I just kept shootingLighting
The lighting was incredible and I was fairly new to using manual settings so capturing the many different aspects of this shot was quite a challenge but i really wanted to be able to show the depth of colour and contrast that was present in so many areas of this sceneEquipment
This was taken on my Lumix gm1 Aperture:f/7.1 ISO: 200 Exposure:10/2000Inspiration
It was really spur of the moment i was i saw the sky and just had to try and capture itEditing
No post processing required on this one just the natural beauty of New ZealandIn my camera bag
I don't have to much equipment but I usually have my gm1 with its kit lense, a tripod, nd filter, and a few other home made filters for some more creative shotsFeedback
This image mostly felt like right place right time but I guess a key is to be persistent, especially when it comes to sunsets/sunrises the colours are always changing and it can be hours before you get the perfect shot
