Behind The Lens

Location

It was taken at the Herchimer St. boat launch in Belleville ON.

Time

In the early morning about 6am, just before dawn. Temperature wise it was just above freezing. brrrr.

Lighting

Cloudy skies plus a long exposure mitigates a lot of lighting issues.

Equipment

Nikon 5100. Rokinnon 14mm 2.8 lens. 20 year old tripod.

Inspiration

The colours. It's always about the colours.

Editing

I'm the Joe Perry of photoshop. Nothing goes above 20%.

In my camera bag

I have a large bag. One body. 910 speed-light. 50mm. 18-55mm. 55-300mm. 14mm 2.8 Rokinnon. 60mm macro. iPad w/keyboard.

Feedback

Just go. Get off your ass and go. Yes, I know, it's early but it's always worth it. P.S. Take tripod. P.P.S. Take a coat. It's November dummy.
